Quick Instructions (please read!!)

Please READ the following instructions before beginning:

• Step 1: Please prepare the following before you begin, and have both ready on your device for uploading:
  • one picture for your front page (maybe your family?)
  • one picture of yourself
• Step 2: You will need to register before you can begin. (When you're finished reading these instructions, you can click the link below to do your registration.)

• Step 3: Once you've registered, you will be brought back to this page of instructions.
• Step 4: Next you'll need to enter the name you want to appear in the Haggadah's text. The system will take this name and insert it throughout the Haggadah wherever it's needed automatically, but you won't see this while you are in the design editor (we do it afterwards in our secret lab!). (When you're finished reading these instructions, click the link below to fill in the name you want to appear inside the Haggadah.)

• Step 5: Once you've done and filled in the name, you'll be taken automatically to the editor to design your Haggadah. You can play around with this, but you can zoom in and out and there are a bunch of tools on the right hand side which are easy to use.
• Step 6: Now you can design your Haggadah! The whole Haggadah will be on display and there are several places where you can design and make changes as follows. You will see a big blue arrow wherever you can personalise - either text or photos. For the text, you need to double-click to enter the text you want.
  • Front Page:
    • You can type in the name you want to appear on the front cover, with an apostrophe afterwards. E.g. "Joseph's" or "Rachel's". This name is the only one which isn't automatically put in.
    • Please upload and drag and drop the photo you want for the front cover, many people use their family photo for this.
  • Page 12:
    • This page is left blank for you to decorate how you like - we've made a whole lot of our clipart available (in the Clipart tool) or you can use text or upload your own photos!
  • Page 22:
    • You can insert two lists of things you would have taken with you from Egypt, if you had left then!
  • Page 28:
    • There is a list of 10 extra plagues you can create for a game of charades (silent acting) which you will run during the seder.
• Step 7: Once you're done you can preview your Haggadah. Just remember, that wherever it says, "Your name", it will be replaced with whatever name you entered at the beginning, but you will not see this change even in the preview. Please remember! You have to enter names twice for each Haggadah you make, once at the very beginning by clicking above (in Step 4) on "Enter Name Here" and then you can put any name you want on the front page. If you make several Haggadot, you should give each one a different Project name so you remember which name has been inserted in which.
• Step 8: Click "Add to Cart" in the editor in order to place your order - You will be emailed a digital copy to be downloaded within 7 days! Please make sure you submit your order by Wednnesday 24th March, to allow processing time for your print at home Haggadah!
• Step 9: Confirm what you want to order and then proceed to Checkout and payment!
• Step 10: Please note that if you have a Promotional Code you need to enter it on the Shopping Cart page and click "Apply". Please also remember to tick the "I accept these terms" box.
